Managing Powerful Emotions (MPE) is a psycho-educational course offered virtually for people who have challenges managing their emotions and regulating their behaviour. The course was developed by mental health experts from the Providence Care mental health program.

Raising Kids – Regulating Ourselves (NEW program)

Emotional outbursts and impulsivity can create significant and ongoing difficulties in peoples lives. Participants will learn specific strategies and skills to manage these behaviours, such as:

  • help tolerate intense emotions,
  • examine destructive behaviour,
  • identify and label emotions, and
  • understand the connection between emotions and behaviour.

The next 12-week VIRTUAL Managing Powerful Emotions (MPE) groups:
Current group running Feb 18 – May 6, 2026 on Wednesdays 1:30 – 3 pm

The new 8-week parenting group Raising Kids – Regulating Ourselves runs:
May 7 to June 25 on Thursdays from 12 – 1 pm (Virtual)
