Otago Exercise Program

The first group started April 4 – the next group will start Friday, May 10th

The Otago Exercise Program can reduce your risk of falling by improving muscle strength, flexibility, balance and reaction time. This Otago program will be delivered by the RFLA Allied Health Team kinesiologist in collaboration with the AVOID Frailty Program.

The program is best suited for persons who:

  • are at risk for falling or have fallen in the past year
  • have muscle and balance difficulty
  • walks with OR without a walking aid

This first group of this new program started April 4th.

The next group will start Friday, May 10th from 2:30 – 3:30 pm.
