Otago Exercise Program

The Otago Exercise Program can reduce your risk of falling by improving muscle strength, flexibility, balance and reaction time. This Otago program will be delivered by the RFLA Allied Health Team kinesiologist in collaboration with the AVOID Frailty Program.

This 12-week program is best suited for persons who:

  • are at risk for falling or have fallen in the past year
  • have muscle and balance difficulty
  • walks with OR without a walking aid

Your healthy aging journey begins with the Centres for Health Aging. Connect with your community to stay independent and AVOID Frailty!
