GLA:D Back is a 7-week program for low back pain

Do you experience persistent or recurrent low back pain? GLA:D Back could help!
This 7 week biweekly education and exercise program aims at helping you manage your low back pain and improve your day to day.
The program is for individuals living with nonspecific low back pain, which means pain NOT related to some kind of systemic disease, like cancer, fractures, ankylosing spondylitis etc. Use the contact information below if you have questions about qualifying or not.
GLA:D Back – designed by researchers and therapists from Denmark and Alberta, Canada – is based on the success of GLA:D, a Danish program which helps people with hip or knee osteoarthritis. Research on the GLA:D program showed these benefits:
- Less pain
- Fewer painkillers
- Less time off work
- Able to be more active
Next group starts May 19 – July 14, 2026 (Skipping May 22, June 4 & 18)
The 7 week program runs twice weekly – Tuesdays and Thursdays
Classes are 1 hour 9:30 – 10:30 pm
